Potato somosa filling

1 green chilli
Chop the chilli finely
50 g onion
2 cloves garlic
Chop the onion and garlic
400 g potatoes
Peel the potatoes
cut the potatoes into 1cm cubes
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin
heat the oil in a pan
Fry the cumin for a few seconds
Turn the heat down
Add the onions, garlic, chilli and potatoes
Fry for 3 minutes
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
Add the turmeric and salt
Fry gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
75 g peas
Add the peas
cook for a further 10 min
